MeLao Nightclub Closed

After a quick drive by yesterday it appears that the MeLao Nighclub which opened last summer (I believe) has closed. This closing has not been confirmed and there is no information about the closing on the Internet. Their Myspace page's last advertised event at the club was for June 12. The sign has been taken off the building as well as all wording on the windows. The club was located at 89 Arch Street and shared a building with the popular Arch Street Tavern. Although this is currently a desolate area for nightlife it is just across the street from the future Front Street project and an abundance of restaurants, bars and clubs already in this area would give potential Front Street tenants an incentive to lease.
