Downtown Nightclub Noise

First off I am must state I am a strong supporter of all clubs and bars in Hartford including those downtown. With this in mind I must bring up the question of the noise levels at certain downtown clubs. The summer weather typically brings more people out of clubs, bars and restaurants and out onto the streets. This is the same with the music from some downtown clubs. I will not call out certain clubs because I do not believe the noise is creating a true problem, yet anyways.
There has been an abundance of new housing built downtown as all city supporters know. However, for better or worse this housing is not located near the city's top bars and clubs that are open till late in the morning with music blasting onto the streets (literally). The only downtown housing that I can see being impacted from loud music are the residents at Hartford 21 and since I have not been into those residences I don't even know for a fact if they can hear the music over on Allyn, Ann or Asylum Streets.

Since the number of residents being impacted is low to possibly non-existent the noise is not causing a problem. This will hopefully change over time as more people move downtown. The noise though is a bit perplexing though because noise of this amount is heavily regulated in other cities. I have been to clubs all over the world including those in New York City, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Florence and Amsterdam and none of these have clubs with noise of this amount pouring out onto with windows and doors wide open onto the streets. I just hope that as more people do move downtown the noise levels are regulated by the proper government agencies so the clubs, bars and restaurants as well as the residents can all coexist happily.

And for the record the picture attached to this post is the first picture of a club downtown that I found in my pictures.
