Sometime over the last few weeks Houlihans at 40 Glastonbury Blvd. in Glastonbury abruptly closed their doors. They even went as far as completely boarding up the fairly new building and blocking the entrance with cones and "No Trespassing" signs. The site was previously home to a Bennigan's Restaurant that closed.
Recently, after about a year of renovations and what appeared to be massive delays of some sort Humphrey's Bar & Grill opened their doors at 1151 Silas Deane Highway in Wethersfield. The restaurant is part of a Connecticut chain with locations in Fairfield and New Haven counties. They also have outdoor seating and look to be doing fairly well.
